Kung Fu Panda Free Movie
Animation movies are almost always a fun watch. Not only do we enjoy the innovations of animation but the package also generally includes comedy and voiceovers by megastars which put together create a show that you really don’t want to miss. The Kung Fu Panda movie belongs to this category; released in 2008 and went on to become a big hit. Voiceovers by seasoned stars like Jack Black and Angelina Jolie, not to mention Jackie Chan, definitely contributed towards its success.
In this movie, ‘Po’ is a Panda who is really fond of Kung fu. Po runs a noodle shop and is lazy enough to learn the art of Kung fu. However, the story takes a major turn with the entrance of an age-old prophecy in it. According to this ancient prophecy, ‘Po’ is supposed to save Valley of Peace from menaces.
As the fulfiller of the prophecy, it’s his responsibility to save the Valley of Peace from threats. To enable him to fulfill his role adequately, he’s allowed to make a foray into the world of Kung Fu to hone his skills. This gives him a chance to meet and team up with his idols, the Furious Five, including Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogan), Crane (David Cross), Monkey (Jackie Chan) and Viper (Lucy Liu). All of them begin training under Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman). Po is clearly not a favorite with the Furious Five at the start but manages to endear himself to all but Tigress over a period of time.
No sooner Po realizes that it is evil snow leopard Tai Lung (Ian McShane) that is threat to the Valley of Peace and has to be fought with to complete the prophecy. Po practices a lot but fails again and again at mastering Kung fu. Po’s lost confidence incites the feel of escape in him and he tries to run from the academy forced back by Master Shifu who tells him that he can transform Po into a Dragon Warrior who can easily take over Tai Lung.
The story’s twists and turns, humor and interesting plot keep viewers entertained throughout with not a moment of lag or drag. So impressive was the movie’s first showing itself at the 61st Cannes Film Festival that it received overwhelming applause. It then went on to be released in the US followed by UK and the rest of the world where it also outdid expectations.
