Car Antique Cost

by hispanic

Antique cars are well respected in the automotive industry. Over the years, these types of cars have gained a lot of value and prestige, so their selling prices have increased considerably as well. People generally view antique cars as collector’s items and it can be mindblowing to know just how much a rare antique car can cost.

Most of the antique cars out there do not have a set price. They are usually sold at a starting price at an auction and their price goes higher as the bids for them go higher as well. Many car collectors would not think twice about paying more than high prices in order to own an antique car. Some of these antique cars can go as high as one million American dollars.

Virtual Book Tours Expose Your Books for More Sales

by Rob Metras

Promotion of new books has just come of age thanks to a new tool called Virtual Book tours. In the past authors would travel from town to town and bookseller to bookseller to sign and promote their book. Now they can sit in their own living room with a telephone and achieve better results by conducting a teleseminar. A teleseminar is essentially a large conference call where the author is interviewed and the call is listened to by hundreds of people.

Getting Published

by Steven E

A recent survey showed that more than eighty percent of Americans want to write a book. This extraordinary statistic is somewhat puzzling considering that the National Endowment for the Arts estimates that only fifty-seven percent of Americans have read even 1 book in the last twelve months!

What is it that makes people — even non-readers — want to put pen to paper?

Perhaps it’s the desire for fame and fortune, the need to earn the respect of others, or maybe it’s just the wish to leave some mark on the future, a permanent record of a life lived.

Sell Books by Self Publishing

by Susan Atkinson

Starting off writing a book is easy and finishing is both a relief and a triumph, but there’s a long stretch in the middle where you can’t see either shore and you’re not even sure you’re heading the right way.

Begin by brainstorming title ideas. Come up with at least five and preferably twenty or more potential titles that encapsulate your subject. Begin with the rising action, the part of the story where events build. Then describe the climax, where the story reaches its most dramatic or interesting point.

Five Basic Steps to a Successful Interview

by Steven E

People love to learn about other people, and interviews are an effective way to accomplish that learning. Successful interviewing is not simple, but there are basic steps you can take to make sure your interviews are successful and that you come up with interesting, useful information about those you interview. Here are five such basic steps, whether you are doing an in-person interview or a remote interview by telephone or email:

Finding Great Topics to Write About

by Steven E

It seems it would be a snap to write a short article of five hundred to a thousand words. After all, you’re knowledgeable in many subjects, you’re intelligent and you’re a talented writer who enjoys writing. So why do you face that dreaded writer’s block when you sit down at the keyboard?

Most daunting, perhaps, is finding a topic to write about. You’ve already written articles about all the subjects you know best, often two or three times from different angles, and you can’t use any of those subjects again. The deadline is tomorrow.

Experience + Research = Credible Writing

by Steven E

Credible writing starts with sound research. Then use your own experience to develop your material and you will write more authentically.

1. Define your reasons for writing Who is your targeted reader? Where - and why - is he likely to meet problems? How much does he already know? What special knowledge do you have that can help him? What else do you need to find out? You cannot help your reader if you do not gain his respect.

Why are our children failing in basic reading & writing skills?

by Judith Cuddihy

A recent survey in the United Kingdom shows that every year more and more of our children are leaving school without even the basic reading and writing skills. This is a very important issue at the moment and more studies are needed to find out how and why this situation has happened and what can be done to reverse it.

It is very difficult to just blame certain individuals or organisations but it must be down to one or a few different combinations of the following.

1: The Government: 2: The Schools 3: The Parents 4: Lifestyle Choices:
